Day 01 : Arrive in Manali
Arrive in Manali & check into the hotel.
Rest and acclimatization.
In the afternoon, you will explore the beautiful town of Manali.
Overnight stay at the hotel / guesthouse.
Day 02 : Manali (2050m) - Jispa (3200m) (Drive / 135 kms / 4 - 5 hrs)
Today we drive through legendry Manali- Leh highway
Enroute, cross the famous Rohtang Pass (3980m)
Witness the excellent views of the Pir Panjal Range from the pass.
Later we will descend to the Chandra River and drive to Jispa.

Day 03 : Jispa (3200m) – Sarchu (4290m) - Leh (3500m) (Drive / 320 kms/ 10 - 11 hrs)
Drive today to Leh via Sarchu
Enroute drive through Baralacha La (4892m), Lachlung La (5065m) and Tanglang La (5360m)
Halt for a while at Pang to enjoy traditional Ladakh butter tea
Also enjoy the captivating drive through the More Plains
Late afternoon, arrive at Leh & check into the hotel.

Day 04 : Leh Local Sightseeing
Today is the day of exploration
Post breakfast indulge in sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey & Hemis Gompa
In the evening explore the local market and indulge in shopping.

Day 05 : Leh (3500m) – Khardung La (5602m) – Nubra valley (3048m) (Drive / 125 kms / 4 - 5 hrs)
Today we drive via Khardung La (5602m), the highest motorable pass in the world.
Enroute we stop at village of Diskit and visit the local monastery.
Drive ahead & witness the rare sight of the sand dunes.
Overnight in fixed camp / guesthouse at Nubra Valley.
Day 06 : Nubra valley (3048m) – Khardung La (5602m) – Leh (3500m) (Drive / 125 kms / 4 - 5 hrs)
Today we will drive back to Leh via Khardung La.
Arrive in Leh & relax.
In the evening, explore the local markets.
Overnight stay at the hotel / guesthouse.
Day 07 : Leh (3500m) – Chang La (5320m) – Pangong Tso (4249m) (Drive / 115 kms / 4 - 5 hrs)
Today, embark on a journey to the mesmerizing high altitude lake of Pangong Tso.
Drive through the fourth highest motorable pass in the world, Chang La (5320m).
On arrival, sink in the beauty of the crystal clear waters of this magnificent Lake & the stark beauty of the mountains.
Overnight stay in deluxe tents.
Day 08 : Pangong Tso (4249m) - Chang La (5320m) – Leh (3500m) (Drive / 115 kms / 4 - 5 hrs )
Today we will drive back to Leh via Chang La.
Arrive at Leh & check into the hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel / guesthouse.
Day 09 : Leh (3500m) – Lamayuru (3510m) (Drive / 110 kms / 2 - 3 hrs approx)
Set off to Lamayuru , one of the oldest monastery in Ladakh.
Today drive past Nimo (confluence of Indus & Zanskar River).
Enroute visit Basgo, Likir & Alchi monastery.
Drive ahead & visit Lamayuru monastery.
Check into the hotel / guesthouse.
Overnight stay at the hotel / guesthous
Day 10 : Lamayuru (3510m) – Sonmarg (Drive / 240 kms / 7 - 8 hrs)
Today drive to Sonmarg via Kargil
Enroute drive through Zoji La pass (3528m)
Drive past panoramic views & reach Sonmarg
Overnight stay at the hotel / guesthouse.
Day 11 : Sonmarg (2800m) - Srinagar (1585m) (Drive / 80 kms / 1 - 2 hrs)
Drive from Sonmarg to Srinagar
On arrival, depart for onward destination

Transport Options (Delhi – Manali – Delhi)
For travel from Delhi to Manali & back, one can choose between air & road. For air travel, the closest airport is Bhuntar (Kullu) airport. There are a couple of flights that link this airport to Delhi airport.
If you wish to travel by road, there are regular Volvos from Delhi to Manali. There are frequent Public Transport buses including Volvos available from Delhi to Manali that cost about Rs. 1300 per person. They take about 15 hrs to cover the distance. You can book your tickets either by visiting http://www.hrtchp.com/hrtctickets/ or there are many local travel operators through whom you can book the tickets. A private vehicle could also be arranged for if you require the same
Weather Details
Temperatures and climate vary according to the altitude. The summer days are warm with brilliant blue skies (max 25°C. min 10°C), but the weather in mountainous areas can be very unpredictable. Come prepared for chilly evenings and a small possibility of rain. Early morning starts and descents at altitude require good quality weather gear.
